January 12, 2015 Camphor Fiscally Fit Center /Homeownership Capacity Program Orientation.
The Homeownership Capacity Program Orientation are for former participants that have gone through either the Adult or Business long-term financial empowerment class. This is a wonderful opportunity for people that are looking to purchase a home.
The Homeownership Capacity program will give you the needed tools to continue to work on your budget and credit, while saving money for down-payment and closing cost. Come to the Orientation on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm to find out more about the program.
January through April 2015, the City of St. Paul EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Academy. This program serves underrepresented populations: Low Income Youth, Women, and People of Color, ages 18 to 30. Camphor Fiscally Fit Center is in its second year partnership in providing financial empowerment sessions within the EMS curriculum. There will be thirty (30) participants to start on January 14. We are scheduled to give 16 hours of instruction in Accountability & Responsibility, Savings, Budgeting, Credit and Post-Secondary Education.
February 2, 2015 through May 25, 2015 Camphor Fiscally Fit Center Business Financial Empowerment workshop.
The Business Financial Empowerment workshop class begin Monday evening, February 2, 2015 through May 25, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. We will introduce participants to business and personal financial capabilities and empowerment. The major components covered are Accountability & Responsibility; Budgeting for personal and business expenses; Taking Charge of Your Credit; and Emergencies Savings. The participants will have intensive-one-on-one budget and credit coaching. In addition to the core workshop classes, we bring in outside professionals that will share their knowledge in Marketing Strategies, Business Owner Insurance for the Business, Health Care Directive and Wills, and Financial Planning.
